It is my great pleasure to welcome you to the 5th International Case Report Congress – ICRC 2027, taking place from 9–11 April 2027 at Holiday Inn Skopje.

When ICRC was created, the idea was simple: to give the individual clinical case the attention it deserves. In medicine, some of our most valuable lessons do not begin with large datasets or complex algorithms. They begin with one patient, one unexpected finding, one difficult decision or one outcome that challenges what we thought we knew.

That is the spirit on which this Congress was built. ICRC is a place where medical students, young doctors, residents, specialists, researchers and experienced clinicians can meet as colleagues and learn directly from real clinical experience.

Reaching our 5th edition represents an important milestone. What began as an idea has grown into an international scientific meeting shaped by hundreds of cases, presenters, discussions and professional connections.

Yet the purpose remains unchanged: to create an open scientific platform where a valuable clinical lesson is never considered too small to be shared.

I encourage every participant to approach ICRC 2027 not only as a congress to attend, but as a place to contribute. Present the case that surprised you. Ask the question that stayed with you. Share the decision that changed your clinical thinking. Listen to colleagues whose experience may one day influence the way you treat your own patient.
